Jean Doucet always works in the artisan tradition with respect for the professions related to art and often ancestral knowledge. La Maison Jean Doucet draws its strength from multiculturalism.

The designer loves to travel, discovery and nature. His collections are inspired by some of his travels and encounters.

Very attentive to his customers, he revels in surprise by presenting creations in accordance with his convictions : confections derived with high quality materials, from natural materials often reworked and embroidered.

Since his first steps, with great Parisian couturiers Dior, Patou, Chanel, Ungaro and Paco Rabanne, Jean Doucet works in the most pure tradition of  "Haute Couture" and is addressed himself to all those who seek elegance and exception.

Drawing his inspiration from the depths of the world's cultures, from Asia to Africa ... he mixes natural and noble materials, chiffon, satin, taffeta, organza, gazar, but also horsehair, raffia, damask, row canvas, embroidery, beads, copper thread, the son of gold and silver thread, crystal ... Jean Doucet sublimes these "raw natural" materials in a modern style for today's women.

From 1998 to 2006 he is the official partner of the Miss France Committee, at the service of the most beautiful French women.
In love with the African continent, which he explores since many years, the designer dresses first ladies, celebrities, big weddings ... Recently, the airline Equatorial Congo Airlines national carrier (ECAir) asked him to create the uniforms for its cabin crew.

Couturier with golden fingers, embodying the eternal feminine, Jean Doucet creates princess dresses for a day, for a night, for life. Praised by the world of entertainment, Jean Doucet, a specialist in "tailored fit" has attracted an international clientele by the choice of materials, the glamor, the softness and the spirit of detail.

Thanks to him, "the pretty Madame" becomes bold and allure is set into "couture mode".
